Qualifications

• Read and interpret work orders to determine material needs.
• Meet or exceed productivity levels as set by the Company.
• Plan and organize work independently or in a team environment.
• Develop knowledge of product and inventory control techniques.
• Maintain inter-department communications related to routing, safety, and customer relations.
• Demonstrate basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow Triple-S safe methods of work at all times, and report unsafe conditions.
• Move steel to/from storage, loading docks, or vehicles using hand tools, forklift, or crane; attach slings and guide loads.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds for distances and heights as specified; handle load movement.
• Configure loads for planned routes and multiple stops; maximize trailer capacity.
• Maintain and safely operate tools and PPE; report safety issues promptly.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varied weather; stay aware of surrounding activity.
• Attend required meetings; perform other duties as assigned.
