Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. is seeking a motivated Material Handler to ensure safe handling of steel, maintain quality standards, and support daily productivity.

The role involves moving steel using hand, forklift, overhead crane, and other devices, tying down loads, and assisting with routine maintenance as needed. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying conditions, indoors and outdoors, while following safety procedures and participating in team efforts to meet

Qualifications

• Able to correctly read work orders or receive instructions.
• Ability to meet productivity levels.
• Ability to plan and organize work independently and with others.
• Knowledge of product and inventory control techniques.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety methods at all times and report unsafe conditions.
• Safely move steel to/from storage, loading docks, and vehicles.
• Lift up to 50 pounds for short distances and walk/stand for long periods.
• Apply proper bundling techniques and configure loads for routes.
• Maximize load capacity on trailers while staying safe.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment and report safety issues.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and in a busy environment.
• Attend required meetings and other duties as assigned.
