Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines seeks an experienced Truck Driver to operate tractor-trailers and perform comprehensive pre/post-trip inspections. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and timely freight delivery across diverse routes and conditions.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, hazmat/tanker endorsements, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict safety standards. Local/dock tasks may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 21 years of age or older with 1 year driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with FMCSA compliance.
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Able to meet FMCSA medical and road test requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely to transport freight per laws and FMCSA regs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance.
• Maintain required records and ensure security of equipment and cargo.
• Adhere to safety procedures for hazardous materials transport.
• Communicate with Fleet Services and supervisor about issues.
• Occasionally perform dock work, local pickup/delivery as needed.
