Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a professional truck driver to operate a tractor/trailer across diverse terrains and routes. You will be responsible for safe freight transport, adhering to FMCSA regulations, and maintaining accurate records.

The role includes pre-trip inspections, hazardous materials handling, and providing courteous service to customers. Physical endurance is essential for lifting, pushing loaded pallets, and working in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled terminal/work assignment.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA rules and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain records in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials and secure cargo.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and the public.
• Assist with Local Pick Up and Delivery routes, hub/regional runs, and dock work as needed.
