Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a professional truck driver to operate tractor-trailers in freight transportation across routes. You must adhere to FMCSA regulations, maintain accurate records, and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections to ensure safe operations.

The role requires a Class A CDL, Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, and the ability to handle loading/unloading duties when necessary. Candidates should be prepared to work in varied environments and weather conditions while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• 21 years of age per FMCSA regulations
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domicile Service Center
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required
• Able to drive tractor-trailer under FMCSA rules
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and operate forklift when needed
• Meet FMCSA English language requirements
• Clean driving record (MVR)
• Pass FMCSA medical exam and road test
• Able to work in diverse environments and weather
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment and safe driving functions across terrains
• Comply with FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
• Maintain required records according to regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer
• Report maintenance issues promptly to Fleet Services
• Assist with loading/unloading freight and dock work as needed
