Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to operate all standard tractor-trailers and comply with FMCSA regulations. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, handle hazardous materials as required, maintain logs, and ensure cargo security while delivering freight safely and on time.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, HazMat and Tanker endorsements, a clean MVR, and the ability to work flexible schedules, including over-the-road runs and dock work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age and valid Class A CDL per FMCSA.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the service center.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment and perform safety functions.
• Drive tractor/trailer complying with FMCSA and company rules.
• Maintain required records and FMCSA logs.
• Prepare for hazardous materials transport according to regulations.
• Ensure cargo security and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Report maintenance needs promptly.
• May perform dock work and over-the-road runs as needed.
• Provide professional service to customers and the public.
• Attend to safety and compliance in all duties.
