Job summary

Crumbl Cookies in Metairie, LA is seeking a creative Baker/Oven Operator to join our bakery team. You will read bake times, operate ovens and equipment, and help ensure high-quality cookies while delivering friendly service to customers.

You will decorate, test ingredients for quality, greet customers, accept orders and payments, restock and clean your station, and keep delivery records accurate for timely fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to operate the industrial mixer.
• Efficient, friendly, and focused on food quality and customer satisfaction.
• Comfortable with decorating and displaying finished products.
• Able to read bake times and monitor quality and safety checks.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Reading and understand bake times and paying close attention to detail.
• Using Ovens and other equipment to make cookies. (Required to be 18+ years old by Louisiana law to use the industrial mixer)
• Decorating and displaying finished product
• Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
• Greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payment, and providing exceptional customer service
• Keeping records relating to cookie quality and how to make the best products possible.
• Taking client information and ensuring that deliveries are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Keeping cookies available at all times for customers to enjoy.
• Cleaning and restocking workstation and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift
