Job summary

M&K Truck Centers, a premier commercial truck dealership, seeks an Outside Sales Representative in Sterling Heights, MI to drive sales of new and used trucks. You will manage territory sales, nurture current accounts, and seek new business while delivering exceptional service.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in direct sales, 5+ years in trucking, a CDL, and strong customer focus. Competitive commissions and ESOP are offered in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of direct sales experience; outside sales experience preferred.
• Five+ years in the trucking industry and knowledge of heavy-duty equipment.
• Familiarity with the Southeast Michigan trucking market.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management preferred.
• Must possess or obtain a CDL.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage all sales activities within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with current accounts for repeat business.
• Conduct outreach to prospective customers to explain offerings and solicit new business.
• Write customer orders and sales contracts following company guidelines.
• Document all customer interactions in the provided CRM tool.
• Achieve sales profit standards and propose customer terms based on profitability and creditworthiness.
• Keep up to date with training and industry trends and competitor activities.
• Coordinate with supervisors and attend required meetings as necessary.
• Assist supervisors with inventory management and other tasks as requested.
