Job summary

M&K Truck Centers is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive new truck sales and grow revenue within the assigned territory in Gary, IN. The role focuses on new truck sales with opportunities to sell used trucks to meet customer needs and maximize profitability.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of direct sales experience, 5+ years in trucking, and a CDL. Expect uncapped commissions, a strong benefits package, ESOP, and career growth in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ direct sales experience.
• 5+ years in the trucking/transportation industry preferred.
• Must possess or obtain a CDL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage all sales activities within the assigned territory, including regional accounts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with current accounts to drive repeat business.
• Conduct outreach to prospective customers to explain offerings and solicit new business.
• Write customer orders and sales contracts according to company guidelines.
• Document all customer interactions in the CRM tool.
• Achieve sales profit standards and propose terms based on profitability.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Coordinate with supervisors and attend required meetings as necessary.
• Assist supervisors with inventory management and other tasks.
