Job summary

Dal-Tile, a leading tile and natural stone manufacturer, seeks an Outside Sales Rep in Plymouth, MN to expand the customer base and service existing accounts through regular calls and strategic planning.

You'll develop regional sales strategies, report on activities, and negotiate placements in showrooms while maintaining margins and timely follow-ups, leveraging a strong background in selling and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, some college preferred.
• 4 years of prior selling experience; customer service a plus.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Strong verbal and written communication; self-motivated and organized.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly sales calls with existing customers and cold calls to new prospects.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and travel calendars.
• Analyze top accounts and develop regional sales strategies.
• Grow market share while maintaining product margins and completing follow-ups.
• Present displays and negotiate placements in showrooms; document activities.
