Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Rep to increase its market share in the region by servicing existing customers and expanding the account base through cold calling.

The role requires weekly sales calls, reports, strategic planning, and market analysis to drive growth while maintaining margins. A high school diploma and 4 years of selling experience are preferred, with a clean driving record and proficient PC skills.

Qualifications

• 4 years of prior selling experience.
• Proven ability to work in an unstructured environment.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly sales calls servicing existing customers and cold calling potential customers.
• Prepare weekly Sales and Call reports.
• Develop monthly strategy for sales calls and monthly travel calendar.
• Conduct area market analysis of top accounts (Dealers, Contractors, Builders).
• Research area market product data to determine types, styles, and sizes purchased.
• Grow market share while maintaining product margin goals.
• Complete Positive Action Forms for cold calls resulting in a display or sale.
• Utilize influence to sell/place displays in showrooms.
• Conduct client follow-ups via phone, letters, and emails.
• Establish and maintain client files and timely follow-up on programs.
• Provide PK seminars to customers.
• Utilize On Demand reporting to achieve sales objectives.
• Perform other duties as required.
