Job summary

Spectrum is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect with communities and grow residential customer access to Spectrum’s high-speed data and communication services. The role emphasizes face-to-face engagement, consultative selling, and meeting monthly targets across multiple product lines.

You’ll travel within assigned territories, spend most time outdoors, and work evenings or weekends as needed. A base pay plus incentives can bring total compensation over $100,000 yearly.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate effectively in English and in person.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to listen, analyze needs, and tailor sales pitches.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel door-to-door across assigned territories.
• Familiarity with basic computer systems and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and presenting Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations.
• Present compelling sales proposals aligned with customer needs.
• Complete all required sales documentation including orders and reporting.
• Participate in sales meetings and training to grow professionally.
• Meet monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services.
• Monitor competitors and report insights to management.
