Job summary

Childers Auto & Truck Parts is seeking a field-based sales professional to grow our portfolio of heavy-duty truck parts and fleet maintenance solutions. You will engage trucking companies, repair shops, dealerships, and municipalities, building long-term relationships and delivering quotes to close opportunities.

The role requires outside sales experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to read parts catalogs to identify components.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy-duty truck parts, diesel repair, or fleet maintenance.

• A valid driver''s license and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with fleet managers and repair shops.
• Call on existing customers and prospect for new business.
• Sell heavy-duty truck parts such as brakes, suspension, driveline, engine, transmission, cooling, and electrical components.
• Prepare quotes and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with inside sales and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Meet sales and revenue targets.
• Stay knowledgeable about truck models, aftermarket parts, and industry trends.

Job description

This role involves selling replacement parts, fleet maintenance solutions, and related products to trucking companies, repair shops, dealerships, municipalities, and construction or agricultural fleets.

• Building and maintaining relationships with fleet managers and repair shops.
• Calling on existing customers and prospecting for new business.
• Selling heavy-duty truck parts such as brakes, suspension, driveline, engine, transmission, cooling, and electrical components.
