Job summary

Nextep in Washington, DC is seeking a results-driven outside sales professional to build relationships with business owners and leaders, present tailored PEO solutions, and close deals.

You will research client needs, manage the sales pipeline with CRM tools, and collaborate with internal teams to move prospects through the sales process while staying current on industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or a similar field.
• Some sales experience is a plus.
• Knack for building relationships and a strong desire to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to understand client needs, present tailored PEO solutions, and close sales deals.
• Make sales calls, move prospects through the sales process, deliver IPs and proposals, and coordinate with internal teams to qualify prospects.
• Manage sales pipeline, track leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM tools.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and changes in the PEO market.

About the role:

• A typical day could include making sales calls, moving prospects through our sales process, delivering IPs and proposals, and working with our internal teams to qualify prospects.
• Manage sales pipeline effectively, track leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM tools
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and changes in the PEO market

Requirements

About you:

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in business or a similar field.
• If you have some sales experience, we’ll be especially interested.
• You have a knack for building relationships and a strong desire to succeed
