Halperns’ Steak & Seafood is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Orlando, FL. You will facilitate orders, deliver exceptional service to food service customers, and pursue growth opportunities with current and new accounts, representing Halperns’ products and services.

The role focuses on managing customer interactions, developing pricing strategies, and delivering effective presentations while expanding the customer base in a dynamic food service environment.

Position Summary:

Facilitate, order and delivery interaction between food service customers and Halperns’ Steak & Seafood. Seeks growth opportunities in existing customers and brings new customers to Halperns’ Steak & Seafood. Represents Halperns’ products and services and manages customer business relationships.

Essential Functions:

• Manages customer orders.
• Acquires new customers.
• Develops and maintains customer relationships.
• Manages customer accounts receivables within guidelines.
• Effectively executes the Selling Cycle.
• Develops negotiation strategies.
• Develops pricing strategies.
• Leverages resources to increase growth.
• Delivers effective presentations.
• Conducts customer business reviews.
• Maintains knowledge of industry through industry magazines and local culinary organizations.
• Demonstrates and delivers understanding of the Food Service Industry and its operations.
• Understands areas of customer focus, including Sales Building, Staffing, Profitability, and Compliance.
• Demonstrates effective sampling.
• Explains key features and benefits of Halperns’ products.
• Understands and leverages advantages of Halperns’ branded products.
• Explains Value Added concepts to customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• This position requires customer focus with comprehensive communication skills and the ability to express self verbally.
• Must be a strategic thinker, inquisitive, innovative, and creative in order to build relationships, network, link resources, and apply business practices.
