Signarama Kannapolis is hiring a full-time Outside Sales Representative to be the face of our Kannapolis store across Kannapolis, Concord, Harrisburg, Salisbury, and Mooresville. If you enjoy meeting people and growing a business, this role is for you.

You’ll earn a $30,000 base salary plus uncapped commission, 10% of gross profit, rising to 15% after monthly sales reach $20,000, plus a $100 bonus for every new business customer. Top performers earn $80,000+.

Outside Sales Representative – Signarama Kannapolis

We don't just sell signs. We help local businesses get seen, build their brand, and grow.

Kannapolis and Cabarrus County are growing fast, and every new shop, clinic, contractor, and warehouse needs to be noticed. Signarama Kannapolis is a new, locally owned store from the world's largest sign and graphics franchise. We're hiring a full-time Outside Sales Representative to be the face of our store in the business community across Kannapolis, Concord, Harrisburg, Salisbury, and Mooresville.

What you'll earn: $30,000 – $60,000 in your first year, with top performers earning $80,000+

• $30,000 base salary, so you have steady income from day one
• Uncapped commission on every account you bring in, now and in the future: 10% of gross profit, rising to 15% on the whole month when your monthly sales reach $20,000
• $100 bonus for every new business customer
• Simple, clear pay plan, paid on time

Example: a rep selling $40,000 a month earns about $70,000 a year.

What a day looks like

• Mornings: a quick team huddle, setting appointments, then out in the field visiting local businesses
• Afternoons: sales appointments, presenting quotes with 3D mockups, collecting deposits, and following up
• End of day: a short check-in with the owner to review results and plan tomorrow

What you’ll do

• Prospect every day, mostly through face‑to‑face visits with businesses in your territory
• Learn each customer’s goals, brand, timeline, and budget, and recommend the right sign solutions
• Present quotes, ask for the order, and collect deposits
• Keep every lead, contact, and quote up to date in our customer system
• Work closely with our design and production team so every job is done right and on time
• Attend networking events and represent Signarama in the community
• Ask happy customers for referrals and reviews

Training

You’ll start with a week of hands‑on training alongside the owner: our products, our sales process, prospecting, quoting, and our systems. After that, you’ll get weekly coaching in the field during your first 90 days. No sign industry experience needed.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Are outgoing, energetic, and comfortable walking into a business and starting a conversation
• Have a strong work ethic and use common sense to solve problems
• Are confident asking for the order and discussing payment
• Present yourself professionally
• Are motivated by strong earnings potential
• Have sales experience (preferred), such as B2B, outside sales, printing, promo products, uniforms, copiers, advertising, or retail
• Are organized and comfortable using a phone, tablet, and simple software
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Schedule:

Full‑time, Monday–Friday, daytime hours. Based at our Kannapolis store, with most of your day in the field.
