Job summary

Hometown Plumbing, Electrical, & HVAC in Johnson City, TN is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to engage homeowners during in-home consultations and recommend standby power solutions.

You will present proposals, close deals, and coordinate with installation teams, with pre-set qualified leads and sales tools to support your success. This role offers strong earning potential through commissions and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of in-home sales experience (home improvement or home services preferred).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Represent Hometown during in-home consultations with residential customers.
• Educate homeowners on the benefits of standby power and assess their needs to recommend the best solution.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals that lead to closed deals.
• Work closely with our support teams to ensure seamless installation and customer satisfaction.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to a positive team culture.
