Adecco Permanent Recruitment is assisting a client in identifying an outside B2B sales professional to grow recurring revenue through commercial HVAC maintenance agreements. This field-based role requires hunting new business, managing the full sales cycle, and building long-term relationships with decision-makers in the DMV region.
The role emphasizes prospecting, on-site evaluations, and close collaboration with operations and service teams, with structured training provided.
Our client, an established commercial mechanical-services company, is seeking a driven outside-sales professional to grow recurring revenue through new commercial HVAC maintenance agreements. This is a true business-development role for someone who enjoys creating opportunities, meeting customers in the field, and owning the sales process from the first conversation through a signed agreement.
Commercial HVAC experience is valuable, but it is not required. The company provides structured technical training. The stronger requirement is a proven ability to prospect, open doors, build relationships, and close new B2B business without depending on inbound leads.
Relevant backgrounds may include commercial HVAC or mechanical services, building automation, fire protection, security systems, waste or environmental services, uniform or facility services, pest control, industrial services, payroll services, rental services, staffing, or other formally trained outside-sales environments. Experience selling into data centers or mission-critical facilities is especially valuable.
This is a full-time, field-based position, typically Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Most days should include customer visits, prospect meetings, networking, site surveys, and property walkthroughs. Monthly team meetings are held in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
The first month is highly hands-on. New MSRs rotate among experienced teammates, participate in ride-alongs and site surveys, learn the company’s proposal process, and build relationships with Operations and Project Management. Candidates must be comfortable with in-person training and regular travel throughout the DMV market.
