Role Description

The Outside Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Fargo, ND, responsible for generating new business and expanding relationships with existing customers. This role includes prospecting local businesses, conducting in-person and virtual sales presentations, and recommending print, design, and marketing solutions tailored to client needs. Daily activities involve scheduling and attending client meetings, preparing quotes and proposals, collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate job specifications, and following up to close sales. The representative will maintain detailed records of sales activities, monitor market trends, and participate in local networking events to build brand awareness. Success in this role requires consistent outreach, proactive problem-solving, and a focus on providing responsive, high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in New Business Development, including prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management.
• Strong Relationship Building and Customer Service skills, with a focus on establishing trust and long-term partnerships.
• Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal, written, and interpersonal communication in client-facing settings.
• Experience delivering persuasive Sales Presentations, both in person and using digital tools.
• Previous outside sales experience in printing, marketing, or business services is preferred.
• Comfort working in an on-site, community-facing role in Fargo, ND, with regular local travel to client locations.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize opportunities, and meet or exceed sales goals independently.
• Proficiency with basic office software and CRM tools; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
