Pioneer Athletics invites an Athletics Sales Representative to join our Southern Virginia territory. You will engage with professional teams and educational institutions, identify needs, and present our field maintenance products. This role blends home-office work with extensive in-territory travel.

• Work with Professional Sports Teams, College & High School Athletic Departments as a member of the #1 Resource for Professionals in the Sports Turf and Athletic Field Maintenance Industry.
• Collaborate with Athletic Directors, Coaches, Trainers, and Stadium Managers and Groundskeeping staff to influence decisions about athletic fields and facilities.
• Partner with Sales Management for consultative sales training and product education.
• Receive mentorship from a Professional Sales & Product Training Team in a structured environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Athletics Sales Representative in the southern half of Virginia.

As an Athletic Territory Representative for Pioneer Athletics, you will:

• Work with Professional Sports Teams, College & High School Athletic Departments as a member of the #1 Resource for Professionals in the Sports Turf and Athletic Field Maintenance Industry.
• Work with Athletic Directors, Coaches, Trainers, and Sports Stadium Managers, Groundskeepers & Sports Turf Managers, Parks & Recreation Directors, and Building and Grounds Maintenance Supervisors as the make important decisions regarding their Athletic Fields and Athletic Facilities.
• Work closely with our Sales Management Team in a professional, structured, and disciplined consultative sales training & product training program.
• Work closely with a mentor and a Professional Sales & Product Training Staff in a stable, personalized, and structured environment.

Position Requirements:

*Field Sales Experience, which must include new account development, account maintenance, and travel within a specific geographical territory, and experience in the sports turf industry or athletic sales.

This candidate will inherit our already profitable & protected accounts.

This territory is eligible for quarterly and annual bonus dollars, as well as additional county expansion in the future.

A realistic 1st year income is $100K. Most of our sales representatives earn significantly more after completing our 2-year training program.

To qualify for this position, you must have lived in the Southern Virginia market for at least one (1) year.

Preferred candidates:

• are willing to travel to the Southern Virginia (ranging from Charlottesville to Blacksburg to Danville or Virginia Beach, and Mechanicsville) territory everyday to visit with customers;
• will have a working knowledge of a CRM or a similar type of customer database recording system;
• will have some experience in the sports turf or turf industry;
• will have at least one (1) year experience in outside sales.
