Job summary

Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive commercial and select industrial/residential sales in the Ohio region. You will own end-to-end selling of electrical gear and lighting, build strong customer relationships, and participate in industry trade shows.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of contractor-facing sales experience, strong negotiation and product knowledge, and a proven ability to close deals while adapting to market needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience selling to residential contractors
• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
• Negotiation and closing skills
• Solid product knowledge across electrical products

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish contact with potential customers and schedule appointments
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
• Attend industry trade shows to generate leads
• Stay informed about industry trends to identify opportunities
• Recommend targeted marketing strategies for regions or demographics
• Generate and submit sales reports to management
