Job summary

Echo Electric, a leading electrical distributor and part of Sonepar, is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative for the Akron, OH region. You will own end-to-end selling of electrical switch gear and lighting, expanding opportunities with target accounts and new customers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in sales or closely related field with 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent, plus strong communication, a valid driver's license, and teamwork with Inside Sales.

Qualifications

• Clear and concise written and verbal communication for sales pitches and proposals.
• Ability to identify opportunities, build pipelines, and close deals.
• Understanding of industrial/commercial/contractor markets and product applications.

Responsibilities

• Make regular personal sales calls to new and existing customers in Akron, driving opportunities.
• Promote and demonstrate products and customer resources to the base.
• Coordinate orders with Inside Sales for entry, tracking and fulfillment.
