Job summary

Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, seeks an Outside Sales Representative for the Akron, OH region. You will own end-to-end selling of electrical switch gear and lighting solutions to commercial contractors, focusing on growth with target and new accounts.

Candidates bring a Bachelor's in sales or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, strong customer service, and the ability to present to customers; a valid driver's license and proficiency with MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sales or closely related field; 3+ years of relevant sales or industry experience preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and clear written/verbal communication.
• Developed knowledge of the commercial contractor market; problem solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record; proficient PC and MS Office use.

Responsibilities

• Make regular personal sales calls to customer establishments to seek new opportunities and leads.
• Introduce, promote and demonstrate new products and programs to customers.
• Coordinate orders with Inside Sales for entry, tracking and fulfillment.
• Manage accounts and new opportunities to maximize sales and margins.
• Prepare expense reports monthly and submit auto expense reports as required.
• Build strong working relationships with internal sales teams and support staff.
