Graybar is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our business in a western Kentucky territory. You will cultivate new prospects, service existing customers, and visit sites of business or other off-site locations to promote products and services.

The role requires strong negotiation and selling skills, with extensive travel and the ability to work independently to achieve targets. A 4-year degree is preferred, and compensation starts around $60,000 per year with incentive opportunities.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years industry-specific experience required; 4+ years preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of business administration, sales, and marketing.
• Extensive travel required, including some overnight travel.

Responsabilidades

• Meet or exceed annual gross margin budget by promoting and selling products in the assigned territory.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and report potential claims.
• Keep management informed of local competition and market conditions.
• Carry out sales and merchandising programs as directed and recommend stock items.
• Maintain current customer records and assist in past-due collections.
• Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings.
• Demonstrate products after sale when necessary.
