Job summary

Lansing Building Products in Billings, MT is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive new business and grow revenue within your assigned territory. This role focuses on educating contractors, remodelers, and builders on our building materials while delivering strong customer service and local market insight.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in B2B outside sales with CRM experience and a drive to exceed targets, supported by company car, tech tools, and uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in territory management, B2B outside sales, with a focus on new business development.
• Experience with CRM software to manage and track sales activity.
• Familiarity with Building Materials, Construction, or Wholesale Territory Sales.
• College degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: Identify and prospect clients within your assigned territory and develop & manage leads, through 8 – 10 daily sales appointments.
• Customer Meetings: Meet face to face and educate contractors, remodelers, & builders on our products/services, demonstrating the value and benefits for their organization.
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and proactively offering solutions
• Sales Reporting: Utilize Salesforce to track and report on sales activities.
