Job summary

Graybar in Omaha, NE is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to promote and sell our products in a specialized market. You will develop new prospects and maintain contact with established customers, regularly visiting them at their site of business or other off-site locations.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in the industry (4+ preferred) and a 4-year degree is preferred. You will travel extensively, including overnights, and work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years industry-specific experience.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Knowledge of business administration, sales, and marketing.
• Strong negotiation and persuasive selling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed annual gross margin budget by promoting and selling products in the territory.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and report potential claims.
• Maintain current customer records and assist in collections.
• Travel extensively, including overnight stays.
• Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings.
• Demonstrate products after sale when necessary.
