Job summary

Tankersley Foodservice is seeking an outside sales professional for an Arkansas-based territory. The role focuses on promoting products, building relationships with new and existing accounts, and meeting sales and profit goals.

Some non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) may be required to serve customer needs. You will develop new business, qualify prospects, research customer needs, and provide training and product information.

Qualifications

• Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and offer a mix of products and services to meet those needs.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive to customer accounts and participate in events and meetings.
• Manage deliveries, resolve order issues, and assist with sales quotes and reports.
