Job summary

Sysco Arkansas, a division of Sysco, is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Professional to promote the company's products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts in the US-AR-Mena territory.

This role may require working non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) and travel up to 75%. A Bachelor's degree or 3 years of relevant sales experience, plus a valid driver's license, are required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR 3 years of Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience or equivalent relatable experience including Sysco Sales Internship.
• Bi-lingual abilities are preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with insurance coverage as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects and follow company account stratification goals.
• Research customer business needs and tailor product/service mix to meet those needs.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers based on business needs.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings.
• Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary per credit terms.
• Manage deliveries to routing schedules and troubleshoot order issues.
• Participate in sales meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with training of new employees.
