Job summary

Service Corporation International is hiring a Sales Professional - Outside Sales to generate referrals and close pre-need arrangements while serving families with care and integrity. You will prospect, present planning guides, and maintain long-term relationships with clients and communities.

The role requires flexibility, willingness to work nights/weekends, and the ability to collaborate with funeral directors and staff across locations. Prior sales and CRM experience are advantages.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of college or equivalent experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license with clean driving record; required where applicable.
• In states where required, must hold a Funeral Directors License.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation and referral cultivation for at-need and pre-need arrangements.
• Prospect families and networks via events, door-knocking, and seminars.
• Present planning guides and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with families.
