Job summary

Airgas is seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager in the Columbia, SC area to drive new business and manage a defined territory. You will build relationships, present solutions, and advance profitable sales growth while coordinating with internal teams to fulfill orders and manage credit terms.

The role offers base pay with commission, monthly auto allowance, and a full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• 3+ years in outside B2B sales.
• Familiarity with industrial gases or welding supply sales.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements sales plans to service existing accounts and establish new accounts.
• Nurtures customer relationships with a consultative approach.
• Prepares sales proposals with pricing and delivery estimates.
• Keeps territory analyses and reports up to date.
• Manages Accounts Receivable balances to protect working capital.
