Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3–5 years of sales management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Assertive, competitive and goal oriented.
• Willing to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Meets or exceeds sales goals and profit margin targets established within the market.
• Develop and execute a sales program that reflects a strong understanding of what drives profitability.
• Forecasts sales and profits while being held accountable for performance on a consistent basis.
• Prepares strategically defined sales plans and programs to expand the company's sales volume aggressively and profitably in its defined markets.
• Makes sales call to customers to help secure business and improve profitability.
• Train, coach, and mentor territory managers to drive sales performance and achieve market share profit objectives.
• Provides the General Manager with regular guidance on pricing, customer service, inventory management, and plant scheduling to achieve volume and margin objectives.
• Shows commercial expertise by understanding competitors and how best to position our client's offer against them.
• Builds credibility and trust with current and potential customers by providing excellent customer service and leading by example.
• Drives a culture that will respond quickly to resolve customer concerns.
