Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Residential Sales Consultant to diagnose homeowners' comfort needs and present HVAC and water heater solutions. This outside sales role blends consulting, education, and relationship management to close opportunities using internal leads and your own prospecting.

You’ll build trust with customers, collaborate on-site with technicians, and stay current on energy-efficient technologies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree or related sales certifications preferred.
• 0-2+ years of proven sales experience, preferably B2C.
• Strong business development, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to educate customers and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, customer-focused service.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to navigate residential environments, including attics and crawl spaces.
• Flexibility to work varying hours and on-call shifts.
