Job summary

Kinetic, a Uniti business unit, seeks an Outside Plant Engineer to connect customers to our telecommunications products across the United States and build lasting relationships.

You will design outside plant facilities, plan and engineer network structures, and manage field projects, spending about 70% of time in the field and 30% in the office.

Strong communication, analytical skills, and a drive to solve problems are essential, with occasional travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering or a related field and 2-4 years professional level experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Safety-sensitive position

Responsibilities

• Engineer/design outside plant facilities including fiber and copper
• Assist in the planning, analysis, design and engineering of outside plant network structures and facilities
• Organize complex activities for the development, construction, implementation, and maintenance of outside plant engineering projects
• Communicate effectively to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships and drive projects to completion
• Travel 70% of the time in the field and 30% in the office on average (varies per market)
