Job summary

Uniti is seeking an Outside Plant Engineer to design and engineer fiber and copper networks across the United States. You will analyze data, plan and implement outside plant facilities, and collaborate with city, state, and utility partners to deliver reliable services.

This role involves 70% field work and 30% office, travel up to 25%, and strong communication skills. A college degree in Engineering and 2–4 years of related experience (or 6+ years) is expected, with proficiency in CAD tools

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in outside plant design and field engineering.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Engineer/design outside plant facilities including fiber and copper.
• Plan, analyze, design and engineer outside plant network structures and facilities.
• Coordinate development, construction, implementation, and maintenance of projects.
• Communicate effectively to maintain relationships and drive projects to completion.
• Travel up to 25% of the time; conduct 70% field work and 30% in office.
