Responsibilities

• Oversee flow in the Drive Lane and ensure prompt service for customers.

• Prepare accurate repair estimates with parts and obtain authorizations.
• Update stakeholders on diagnostics, progress, and pricing.
• Supervise shop operations and technician workload.
• Sell heavy-duty truck parts and lookup via parts catalog.

Join our team at West Michigan International (WMI) and K&R Truck Sales, a locally owned group of companies dedicated to providing top-notch service in the truck dealership industry. We are seeking a skilled Service & Parts Advisor who will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers. This role works Monday-Friday and involves a deep understanding of our product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling, and customer service. Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of the Drive Lane, ensuring prompt, courteous, and effective service for customers
• Handle customer interactions, including greeting customers, answering phones, and addressing queries for both parts and service
• Open and close repair orders while adhering to company and warranty processes and correct parts
• Prepare and present accurate repair estimates including parts and obtain repair authorizations
• Keep all parties updated on diagnostics, repair progress, and parts price and status
• Supervise the shop operation and workflow during the shift
• Distribute work between technicians efficiently, ensuring daily inventory of technicians’ time is sold to service customers
• Sell heavy-duty truck parts
• Use parts catalog for parts lookup
