Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Residential Sales Consultant in Salem, VA. This outside sales role combines consultative selling, customer education, and relationship management to close HVAC and water heater opportunities.

You will leverage internal warm leads, company-provided pipelines, and your own prospecting. A valid driver’s license and ability to navigate homes are required; the role offers strong base salary plus commission and substantial earning potential.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required; Bachelor's degree or related sales certifications preferred.
• 2+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in direct-to-consumer (B2C).
• Strong business development, negotiation, and closing sales skills.
• Ability to educate customers and present technical concepts clearly; excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Consultative selling of high-efficiency HVAC and water heater systems to new and established customers.
• Build lasting relationships and drive customer satisfaction, trust, and retention.
• Drive sales growth using internal leads and your own prospect pipeline; close opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical team during site visits to tailor solutions to the home’s requirements.
• Remain a market expert and stay updated on energy-efficient technology and service methods.
