Job summary

Sysco South Florida, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant for the Key Largo, Tavernier, and Islamorada area in Florida. This outside sales role focuses on promoting Sysco’s products to new and existing accounts and building strong customer relationships.

The position may require working non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer needs. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus a valid driver’s license are required; bilingual skills are a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline is required.
• OR HS/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience is acceptable.
• Bi-Lingual is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance meeting company standards.
• Pass employment testing and sign Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth in the assigned territory.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to propose products and services.
• Provide product information and practical training to customers.
• Drive a personal vehicle to accounts, events, and meetings; collect payments per credit terms.
• Prepare sales budgets, quotes, and reports; manage order routing and deliveries.
