Job summary

Sysco South Florida, Inc. is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote Sysco products and services.

The role focuses on building new relationships and servicing existing accounts across the Hollywood, FL area, with travel up to 75% and occasional non-traditional hours. The position offers a base salary plus bonus, car allowance (mileage reimbursement in CA), cell phone, and a robust benefits package including an Employee Stock Purchase Plan and 401(k) with matching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR 3 years of Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience including completion of the Sysco Sales Internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor product and service mixes.
• Present products, prices and availability; train customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and attend meetings.
• Collect accounts receivable as needed and manage order deliveries per routing schedule.
• Review daily/weekly reports and prepare sales budgets and quotes.
