Job summary

ACCESS Outreach in Medford, OR is seeking an Outreach Program Support Specialist II to assist program staff across Support Services. You will perform general office duties, data entry, file maintenance, scheduling, and eligibility review, reporting to the Peer Support Supervisor.

The role requires at least one year in a client-facing role, strong communication, multitasking, confidentiality, and Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based tools.

Qualifications

  • Belief in ACCESS' mission to help provide food, warmth, and shelter.
  • Must have at least one year's experience in a client-focused field.
  • Must be able to multitask in a variety of areas and maintain sustained concentration with attention to detail.
  • Must have good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with customers and co-workers while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Must have at least 6 months of demonstrable record-keeping, organizational skills, and administrative experience.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Valid Oregon driver's license with acceptable record under ACCESS policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Outreach and Peer support programs.
  • Input accurate information into multiple databases promptly.
  • Assemble and maintain files and reference materials.
  • Perform documentation and file reviews for data errors; update procedures.
  • Process and review program applications according to ACCESS procedures.
  • Schedule and coordinate front desk responsibilities.
  • File, maintain, and shred documents per ACCESS procedures.
  • Coordinate with departments/agencies to provide referrals.
  • Answer calls and emails; schedule appointments for Outreach staff.
  • Maintain records of Outreach contacts; return calls to the team line.
  • Run reports in the case management system and ensure accuracy.
  • Develop walk-in service delivery with Outreach intake and program support.
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
