Job summary

YoungWilliams is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to oversee outreach programs and deliver community-focused activities across Kansas. The role involves collaborating with county and community partners to develop partnerships with resource centers and assisting with case management as needed.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering events, educating families and partners about services, maintaining materials, compiling statistics, safeguarding confidential data, and traveling statewide

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field OR relevant work experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Educate families and community partners about program goals, services, requirements, processes, and availability.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community groups and agency representatives to increase referrals and resource access.
• Prepare accurate and timely outreach materials and compile program statistics.
• Access system data, document required case information, and maintain confidentiality of records.
• Maintain materials for the community resource center and provide direct support to customers.
• Perform case management work for the project as needed.
• Travel statewide as needed to perform outreach duties (approximately 50%), including some weekends (must have a valid driver license).
• Maintain regular and timely attendance; perform other duties as assigned.

The Outreach Coordinator will work collaboratively with county and community partners to develop and maintain excellent partnerships with stakeholders, including resource centers. They will also assist with case management as needed by the project.

Required Education

Associate's degree in a related field or relevant work experience.

Required Experience

• At least three (3) years' experience in a progressively responsible position working directly with the public, and/or community organizations, preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
