Advocate Aurora Health in Wisconsin seeks a part-time Phlebotomist to join the ACL Laboratories - Outreach team in West Allis. You will perform blood collection, ensure patient safety through proper identification, and process specimens for testing. The schedule runs 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM with alternating weekends and holiday rotations.

No prior experience is required; a High School Diploma is required along with a valid driver's license. Benefits eligible and a competitive pay range apply.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• No experience required.
• Valid driver's license required by residency state and Aurora fleet standards.

Responsabilités

• Verifies positive patient identification to ensure patient safety.
• Independently performs venipuncture and specimens collection from newborns to adults.
• Labels specimens and ensures proper labeling and testing requisitions are entered accurately.
• Handles specimen processing steps including aliquoting and maintaining specimen IDs.
• Keeps supervisors informed of driving status and travels as required.
