Missouri River Regional Library is seeking a part-time Outreach Driver to provide library services at various locations on a set schedule. Duties include checking materials in/out, assisting patrons, stocking outreach materials, and delivering to homebound patrons or remote lockers as needed.

The role requires excellent verbal and written communication, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently. A valid Missouri driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Exceptional verbal and written skills.
• Experience working with the public.
• Experience in a library is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Checks materials in and out and assists patrons in locating materials and information for outreach.
• Shelves materials and stocks outreach vehicles with books and supplies.
• Drives to outreach stops and to nursing homes/homebound patrons.
• May deliver materials to remote lockers for patrons to pick up.
• May assist with emptying book drops in Cole and Osage counties.
• Drives outreach vehicle to special events to promote the library.
• Works shifts at public desks and assists patrons and staff as needed.
• May assist with opening/closing the library on a set schedule.
