Missouri River Regional Library seeks a part-time Outreach Driver to deliver library services to homebound patrons and at events. You will operate the outreach vehicle, check materials in/out, and assist patrons in locating materials and information.

The role requires a valid Missouri driver’s license, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work with diverse patrons, including those with special needs. Flexible hours reflect the outreach schedule and community events.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Exceptional verbal and written skills.
• Experience working with the public.
• Experience working in a library is desirable.

Mansioni

• Checks materials in and out, assists patrons in locating materials and information for outreach.
• Shelves materials, stocks outreach vehicles with books and supplies.
• Drives to and from outreach stops, including delivery to nursing homes and homebound patrons.
• May deliver library materials to remote lockers for patrons to pick up.
• May assist with emptying book drops throughout Cole and Osage counties.
• Drives outreach vehicle to special events to promote the library.
• Works scheduled shifts at public desks and assists patrons and staff as needed.
• May assist with opening and closing the library on a set schedule.
• May serve on library committees as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
