Job summary

Pacific Health Group seeks a Member Engagement Specialist to initiate outbound calls, educate prospective members about ECM and PHG services, and assist with enrollment and Medi-Cal applications. You will coordinate with care managers and community partners to ensure smooth transitions into ECM services.

The role emphasizes compassionate communication, outreach, and documentation, with community events and cross-functional collaboration as core components of success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, outreach, or related field.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outbound calling experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Outbound outreach to prospective members and educate on PHG services.
• Assist with Medi-Cal applications and BenefitsCal navigation when appropriate.
• Enroll members and obtain required consents.
• Coordinate with Lead Care Managers for transitions into ECM services.
• Represent PHG at community outreach events and promote services.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation of member interactions.
