Job summary

Pacific Health Group seeks a Member Engagement Specialist to be the first contact for prospective members. You will conduct outbound outreach, educate on ECM and PHG services, assist enrollments, and coordinate handoffs to care managers to connect members with ongoing support.

Success requires strong communication, compassion, persistence, and organization to navigate Medi-Cal processes, benefits, and referrals while protecting privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years in customer service or healthcare.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outbound calling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound outreach to prospective members referred by health plans and partners.
• Educate on Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and PHG services.
• Build rapport and establish trust with members.
• Complete enrollments and obtain required consents.
• Coordinate referrals and warm handoffs to care managers.
• Assist with Medi-Cal and BenefitsCal applications when appropriate.
