Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an RN for the Wound Clinic at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. The role is 0.8 FTE with 8-hour day shifts, 32 hours per week, no weekends, in an outpatient clinic setting.

The ideal candidate has extensive wound and ostomy experience and current certifications. Responsibilities include assessing and treating complex wounds, developing care plans, and coordinating with patients and families while applying evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years RN wound and ostomy experience in relevant settings.
• Active Wound and Ostomy certifications required.
• Current MN/WI RN license.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with complex wounds and ostomies in an outpatient clinic.
• Develop individualized care plans and coordinate with the patient and family.
• Document nursing diagnoses and interventions per guidelines.
• Provide evidence-based nursing care and participate in quality improvement.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity of care.
