Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an RN for General Medicine Associates at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. This role focuses on outpatient coordination with a strong emphasis on nursing assessment, planning, and collaboration to deliver high-quality patient care.

The position requires extensive inpatient/telemetry/critical care nursing experience, MN (and WI) RN licensure, and strong documentation and teamwork skills. Shift is day, 8 hours, 40 weekly, with none of the major weekend holidays.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in MN (and WI if providing services)
• Current BLS certification from AHA/Red Cross or in-house training
• RN-BC Ambulatory Care certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess and collect data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Analyze data to determine nursing diagnoses and plan patient care.
• Coordinate and delegate care to LPNs or assistants as appropriate.
• Develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Document interventions and patient progress per guidelines.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
