Job summary

TriHealth is seeking an Outpatient Unit Coordinator at the Bethesda North OB GYN Center in Montgomery, OH. This full-time day position supports registry, patient reception, and data gathering for service and billing, under RN supervision.

You will handle phone calls, schedule coordination, and assist nursing staff with selected tasks while maintaining a patient-centered, efficient workflow in a busy clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Up to 1 year experience in a related field (Required).
• Typing 30 WPM
• Computer literate
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

Responsibilities

• Answers phones in accordance with Service Excellence standards.
• Assists with the coordination of daily activities of the center.
• Coordinate all patient appointments, Dr meetings and calls into computer scheduling. Communicate with Staff and Dr/Dr office any conflicts. Produce daily worksheets for staff and patient information sheets for each Doctor.
• Demonstrates organizational and communication skills to promote the well being of the Center.
• Greets all patients pleasantly and accurately registers them into the hospital computer system according to specific registration requirements.
• Insures consents, NNC’s, registration and orders are verified with current patient information.
