Job summary

TriHealth's Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH, seeks a Unit Coordinator & Monitor Tech for the 4100 Telemetry Unit. This on-site, part-time role supports central cardiac monitor observation, patient flow, and clip logs, with 6:30am–7:00pm shifts.

You will communicate with staff, ensure patient safety, maintain equipment and alarms, and assist in coordinating care for complex cardiovascular patients while upholding TriHealth SERVE standards.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required.
• Successful completion of basic cardiology course, including 40 hours of clinical orientation.
• Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of computer applications and census/document scanning for the unit.
• Communicates effectively with internal and external customers (staff, patients, families, other departments).
• Monitors central cardiac monitors and maintains logs; reacts to rhythm changes.
• Notifies RN promptly of rhythm changes and alarms; maintains alarm awareness and unit safety.
• Supports patient satisfaction and adherence to unit protocols, with self-growth and accountability.

Education
