Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform comprehensive ultrasound exams across abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN and vascular studies. You will own image quality, optimize protocols, and review scans for diagnostic completeness before radiologist interpretation.

Ideal candidates have ARDMS certification, accredited sonography training, and 1–2 years of clinical experience, with strong PACS/RIS/EMR proficiency and communication skills.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or applicable specialty required — or registry-eligible with a clear path to certification
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• 1–2 years of clinical ultrasound experience (general, OB/GYN, and/or vascular) preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state licensure current (where required)
• Proficiency in ultrasound equipment and PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
• Strong image optimization and multi‑specialty scanning protocol knowledge
• Ability to work independently in a high‑volume outpatient environment
• Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and clinical staff
• Commitment to QA participation and ongoing professional development
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Responsibilities

• Perform full spectrum exams including abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, and vascular.
• Ensure image quality and diagnostic completeness before radiologist review.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam area and support department operations.
• Document findings in PACS/RIS/EMR in real time.
• Mentor students and participate in QA and continuing education.
